About the Customizer

This page talks a little bit about the customizer in WordPress, including how it works, and how to access it from your WordPress dashboard.

The WordPress customizer allows you to make changes to your site and preview those changes live. Aubrey takes full advantage of this feature by adding many more options for you to configure.

Access the customizer by navigating to Appearance > Customize from your WordPress dashboard. Alternatively, if you're viewing your site on the front end, you can simply click on "Customize" in the top left of your WordPress toolbar.

From here, you can configure every aspect of your site, from setting up your logo, right down to configuring the footer area. Some settings are default WordPress settings, such as the ones in the "Site Identity" tab, but many of them are added by the theme via the "Theme Options" tab.
